Philosophy

"Our attention is limited, so we have to be selective about what we let in and what we put out. I'm careful about what I consume—if it's not essential, I skip it. And when I'm building, I'd rather create a few things that are really great than a bunch of things that are just okay."

In Practice

Scenario

I have ideas for dozens of apps and games, and if I had infinite time I'd build them all.

Applied

I filter for the projects I truly care about. I discard the 'good' ideas to make room for the 'great' ones, applying the 'Input/Output' filter to my own creativity.

Result

Instead of a graveyard of 10 unfinished or mediocre experiments, I produce 3 polished, high-impact applications that I am proud to sign my name to.

The Library

I'm always reading a book. Nowadays they're mostly about innovation, tech, and growth, but I used to be a big fiction lover back in the day.

As Jim Rohn once said "Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary."
